Terms & Conditions
Thank you for using Spryntz. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are intended to make you aware of your legal rights and responsibilities with respect to your access to and use of the Spryntz website at www.spryntz.com (the "Site") and any related mobile or software applications ("Spryntz Platform") including but not limited to delivery of information via the website whether existing now or in the future that link to the Terms (collectively, the "Services").
Please read these Terms carefully before ordering any Items from our Platform. If you have any questions relating to these Terms, please contact support@Spryntz.com before you place an order. If you are a consumer, you have certain legal rights when you order Items using our Platform. Your legal rights are not affected by these Terms, which apply in addition to them and do not replace them. By setting up your Spryntz account, you confirm that you accept these Terms.
1. Information About Us
Spryntz.com is operated in the United Arab Emirates by Spryntz Technologies L.L.C (“we”, “us” or “Spryntz”), incorporated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with license no 1121529 and we are governed under the Laws of UAE.
2. Purpose
Our objective is to link you to the restaurants we partner with (“Partner Restaurants") and allow you to order Items for delivery or avail their other services (our “Service”).
Where you order from a Partner Restaurant, Spryntz acts as an agent on behalf of that Partner Restaurant to conclude your order from our Platform and to manage your experience throughout the order process. Once you have placed an order, your Items will be delivered to you by Spryntz (“Spryntz Delivery”) or our Partner Restaurant (“Partner Delivery) (each a “Delivery”) depending on the Partner Restaurant you have selected. In some cases, the Partner Restaurant may be owned by or affiliated with us.
Here the orders could be of various types
2.1 Dishes that can be selected from the Menu offered by the Partner Restaurants. The Orders are captured in the system for immediate delivery (Direct Orders)
2.2 Subscribe or Order Dishes that are part of plan of meals put together/provided by the Partner Restaurants. Once subscribed, you take the deliveries at an agreed time and for a specific duration (weekly/monthly). (Meals Subscription)
2.3 Bulk orders that can be raised for a specific occasion or for a large group of people that goes beyond a normal order in quantity (Bulk Orders)
We also allow you to book Tables at our Partner restaurants based on availability. The Tables can be booked for specific occasions or meetings and we will communicate the information to the partner Restaurant who will make the Table available at the date and time that was booked by you. (Table Reservation)
3. Your Account
Before you can avail our Services through our Platform, you need to open a Spryntz account. When you open an account you may create a password, or other secure login method, and may also have to provide credit card details. You must keep any password you create, or other secure login method, secret, and prevent others from accessing your email account or mobile phone. If another person uses these methods to access your account, you will be responsible to pay for any Items they order, and we are not responsible for any other losses you suffer, unless the person using your password obtained it because we did not keep it secure.
You may close your account at any time by requesting to do so in your account section of our website or contacting us using the contact details above. We may suspend your access to your account, or close it permanently, if we believe that your account has been used by someone else. We may also close your account if in our opinion you are abusing our Service (for example, by applying for refunds or credit to which we do not consider you are entitled, making repeated unreasonable complaints, mistreating riders, or any other good reason). If we close your account permanently, we will refund any remaining account credit you have validly obtained from our customer service team or Platform following any issue by applying a credit to your registered credit card, or if that is not possible for any reason, by way of a bank transfer using bank details (provided you have supplied them to us).
4. Service Availability
Each Partner Restaurant has a prescribed delivery area. This delivery area may change at any time due to factors such as weather, or demand on our service. This is to ensure that Items reach your door at their best. Our Partner Restaurants each decide their own operating hours. That means that the availability of our Service, and the range of Partner Restaurants from which you can order, depends on the Partner Restaurants in your area. If you try to order a delivery to a location outside the delivery area or operating hours of a Partner Restaurant, or the Platform is otherwise unavailable for any reason, we will notify you that ordering will not be possible.
5. Orders
Direct Orders: When you place an order through our Platform, it needs to be accepted by us or the Partner Restaurant before it is confirmed. We will send you a notification if your order has been accepted (“Order Accepted” Status). The contract for the supply of any Item you have ordered comes into existence when we send the ”Order Accepted”[2] status.
Meal Subscription Orders: All subscription Orders once selected and paid for in advance will be scheduled to be delivered at the selected delivery times within the Platform. Our Partner Restaurants will do their best to deliver the dishes in the expected timeframe and also to provide the dishes as specified in their Menu. Any delays in delivery or change in the actual items delivered will have to be taken with the Partner Restaurant directly.
Bulk Orders: Provide details of the Bulk Order like Occasion, number of people, Preferred Cuisine(s), Preferred Dishes, Budget etc. and send this to the Partner Restaurant(s) of your choice. Once the Partner Restaurant(s) respond with options, close the one you like and wait for the items to be delivered. The confirmation with the Partner Restaurant must happen within a reasonable time so that it gives sufficient time for the Partner restaurant to prepare the dishes and make the Delivery deadline. Any delay in providing the confirmation might result in either cancellation of the Order by the Partner Restaurant or a delay in the actual delivery of the Order.
General Terms: You are responsible for paying for all Items ordered using your account, and for related delivery charges, and for complying with these Terms, even if you have ordered the Item for someone else. Spryntz or some Partner Restaurants operate a minimum order value policy. This will be displayed on our Platform. All Items are subject to availability. Partner Restaurants may use nuts or other allergens in the preparation of certain Items. Please contact our Partner Restaurant prior to ordering if you have an allergy. Spryntz cannot guarantee that any of the Items sold by our Partner Restaurants are free of allergens. Once the order is confirmed, then any refunds or cancellations on the order will not be possible and nor can be refunded. The dishes that are shown in the pictures can differ from the actual way they look, and it is dependent on the Partner restaurants for the pictures provided by them. Wrong orders or misplaced items will either be redelivered, or you will be provided a coupon equivalent to the value of the item that was in question. The coupon can be redeemed only on the Spryntz platform and in the area in which it was offered.
Table Reservation: You can book a Table at our Partner Restaurants based on availability. You will asked for additional information related to the Reservation like Occasion, number of guests Food preferences so that Partner Restaurant can strive to provide a relevant experience.
6. Delivery
Direct Orders: When you place an order, it is as an ASAP Delivery or select the time of delivery. For an ASAP Delivery, we will tell you an “expected delivery time” for your Item before you place the order, but we will attempt delivery as soon as possible; you must therefore be available to accept delivery from the time you place the order.
Meal Subscription Orders: When you place the order, it will be scheduled for Delivery from the start of the Subscription period. Changes to the scheduled delivery timings is not permitted unless allowed or accepted by the Partner Restaurant.
Bulk Orders: Once the Order is confirmed, the Partner Restaurant will schedule the delivery of the Order provided the confirmation is received within their “cut off” time.
General Terms: Unfortunately, despite our, and our Partner Restaurant’s best efforts, things do not always go to plan and factors such as traffic and weather conditions may prevent us from delivering your Item on time. If your order is more than 20 minutes beyond the “expected delivery time”, and we haven’t notified you giving you the option to cancel your order, we will work with you to make things right unless you have caused the delay (e.g., because you gave us the wrong address or did not come to the door).
We will attempt delivery at the address you provide to us when you place your order. You are responsible to ensure you have included an accurate address/landmark to ensure your Items reach you. If you need to change the delivery location after you have placed your order, we may be able to change to the address to an alternative one that is registered with your account if you let us know before the driver has been dispatched, and the new address is within the same zone as the address you originally ordered your Item to. If we cannot change the delivery address, you have the option to cancel the order, but if food preparation has started you will be charged the full price for the Item, and if the driver has been despatched you will also be charged for delivery.
You will still be charged for the Item and for delivery in the event of a failed delivery if you have caused such failure for any reason. Reasons you might cause a delivery to fail include (but are not limited to):
you do not come to the door;
did not pick up the phone when the driver contacted you using the contact information you have provided us; and/or
you picked up the phone but then failed to provide access within a reasonable amount of time, and the driver is unable to find a safe location to leave the food.
An incorrect address that has been provided and you have not been able to help the delivery person locate the place of delivery within a reasonable time limit.
If the items to be delivered is spoilt for reasons beyond the control, then an attempt will be made to redeliver the same order and it will reset the “expected delivery time”. You will be informed in cases where the order had to be redelivered. You have the option to cancel the order and get a refund in this case.
Table Reservation: For Tables that have been reserved by you, you need to arrive at the agreed time at the location of the Partner Restaurant. Failure to show up within a reasonable time of the booking might result in your booking getting cancelled with no liability on the Partner Restaurant to provide you with an alternate table if none are available.
7. Your Rights If Something Is Wrong With Our Items
On your Food Orders through our Platform, you have a legal right to receive goods which comply with their description, which are of satisfactory quality, and which comply with any specific requirements you tell us about (and we agree to) before you place your order. If you believe that the Items you have been delivered do not comply with these legal rights, please let us know. We may request a photograph showing the problem if it is something that can be seen by inspecting the Items. We will provide a refund or account credit in respect of the affected part of the Item, and also in respect of delivery if the whole order was affected, unless we have reasonable cause to believe that the problem was caused after delivery.
On your Table Reservations made through our Platform, you have a legal right to expect the Table to be available at the Date/time selected during the booking process. If you believe that the booked Table do not comply with these legal rights, please let us know. We will provide a refund or account credit in respect of the Booking fee paid by you.
Prior to processing your refund or account credit, we may take into account relevant factors including the details of the order, including your account history, what happened on delivery and information from the Partner Restaurant.
8. Age Restricted Products
Age restricted products can only be sold and delivered to persons aged 18 or over. By placing an order for an age restricted product, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Spryntz operates the Challenge 25 age verification policy whereby customers who look under aged 25 will be asked by the delivery driver to provide proof that they are aged 18 or over. The driver may refuse to deliver any age restricted product to any person who does not look aged 25 unless they can provide valid photo ID proving that they are aged 18 or over. If delivery of any age restricted product is refused, you will still be charged for the relevant Item and for delivery.
9. Cancellation
Food Orders: You may cancel an order without charge at any time before the Restaurant Partner has accepted and started preparing the food (an “Accepted Order”). If you wish to cancel an order before it becomes a Started Order, please contact us immediately, via our Platform. If the Partner Restaurant confirms the order was not a Started Order, we will refund your payment (excluding any discount, or Voucher that was applied to the order - see Voucher and Account Credit Terms for more detail). If you cancel any order after it becomes an Accepted Order, you will be charged the full price for the Items, and if the driver has been despatched you will also be charged for delivery. For any order requested on a cash payment on delivery (“COD”) basis, such order may not be cancelled after it becomes a Started Order and will be charged and delivered to you.
Table Reservation: You may cancel your Table Reservation within the time specified by the Restaurant where the booking was made. This is made available in the Platform during the time of booking and anytime later. Any cancellation after the specified time limit will not be refunded.
General Terms: Spryntz and the Partner Restaurant may notify you that an order has been cancelled at any time. You will not be charged for any orders cancelled by us or the Partner Restaurant, and we will reimburse you for any payment already made using the same method you used to pay for your order. We may, in some cases, also apply credit to your account to reflect the inconvenience caused.
10. Prices, Payment and Offers
Prices include VAT. You confirm that you are using our Service for personal, non-commercial use. Spryntz may operate dynamic pricing some of the time, which means that prices of Items and delivery may change while you are browsing. Prices can also change at any time at the discretion of the Partner Restaurants. We reserve the right to charge a Service Fee, which may be subject to change, for the provision of our Services. You will be notified of any applicable Service Fee and taxes prior to purchase on the checkout page on our Platform. No changes will affect existing confirmed orders, unless there is an obvious pricing mistake. Nor will changes to prices affect any orders in process and appearing within your basket/cart, provided you complete the order immediately. If you do not conclude the order before and if the price of items were revised, then the new value will reflect when you at checkout. If there is an obvious pricing mistake, we will notify you as soon as we can and you will have the choice of confirming the order at the original price or cancelling the order without charge and with a full refund of any money already paid.
Where Spryntz or any Partner Restaurants make a delivery, we or the Partner Restaurant may also charge you a delivery fee. This will be notified to you during the order process before you complete your order.
The total price of your order will be set out on the checkout page on our Platform, including the prices of Items and Delivery and applicable Service Fees and taxes.
Payment for all Items and deliveries can be made on our Platform by cash, credit or debit card, or other payment method made available by Spryntz. All payments will be accepted in AED (UAE Dirhams). Spryntz accepts Visa or Mastercard for payments using credit/debit cards. Once your order has been confirmed your credit or debit card will be authorised and the total amount marked for payment (in respect of all payments made by credit or debit cards). Payment is made directly to Spryntz acting as agent on behalf of the Partner Restaurant only. Payment may also be made by using vouchers or account credit. Use of these is subject to Spryntz's Voucher and Account Credit Terms.
Multiple booking / orders may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.
Where COD is possible, this will be made clear on our Platform before you place your order. Only cash payments will be accepted when an Order is to be delivered under the COD facility. We will not be authorised to accept cheques, Spryntz credits, vouchers, card payments or any other form of payment (including credit or debit cards) once an Order is requested through the COD payment on our Service. Drivers will only carry a small amount of change, so for all COD payments you are requested to prepare exact payment or as close to it as possible for the Order (as you may not receive change back).
We are authorised by our Partner Restaurants to accept payment on their behalf and payment of the price of any Items or delivery charges to us will fulfil your obligation to pay the price to the Partner Restaurant. In limited instances, where you have selected a Partner Restaurant that offers Partner Delivery, you can also make your payment in cash directly to the Partner Restaurant by paying the Partner Delivery driver at the time of delivery.
Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Spryntz policies and rules.
Partner Restaurants sometimes make special offers available through our Platform. These are visible when you look at a Partner Restaurant menu or the Offer Zone. These offers are at the discretion of the Partner Restaurants. Unless the offer terms state a fixed or minimum period for which an offer will be available, it can be withdrawn at any time, unless you have already placed an order based on the offer and we have sent the Confirmation Notice.
All refunds, if applicable, will be done only through the original mode of payment.
11. Tips
When Placing Your Meal Order:
When you place an order, you will have the option to pay a tip to your rider or the restaurant, in addition to the purchase price of the Items in your order. Any payment will be collected by Spryntz using the payment method used for the original order and your rider or the restaurant will receive 100% of any payment you choose to make.
After You’ve Received Your Order:
Once you’ve received your order, you may receive a notification giving you the chance to pay a tip to your rider. Spryntz will collect payment on behalf of the rider, as their limited payment collection agent, and payment of the tips shall be considered a direct payment from you to the rider. We may share your first name with your rider when we notify them of the tip. Your rider will receive 100% of any payment you choose to make. As this payment is made after you receive your order, this payment is non-refundable and does not form part of your order. Depending on the payment method used for your original order, your tip may show up on your bank/credit card statement as a separate payment.

Gifting, Voucher Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
Spryntz may, from time to time, provide the following types of Credits to customers:
(i) Vouchers: These are promotional credits that may be offered by Spryntz or Partner Restaurants through our Site. Vouchers operate as credits applied to a customer's Spryntz account and can be redeemed (subject to specified conditions, as detailed below) against the cost of Items.
(ii) Account Credit: This is credit that may be applied to a customer's Spryntz account at the sole discretion of Spryntz. Account Credits function as credits applied to a customer's Spryntz account and can be redeemed (subject to specified conditions, as outlined below) against the cost of Items.
(iii) Cash Vouchers: These are vouchers specifically designated for the purpose of redeeming against complaints and refunds. Cash Vouchers are considered as Credits for the purposes of these Credit Terms and can be redeemed in accordance with the conditions set forth below.
Collectively, Vouchers, Account Credits, and Cash Vouchers are hereinafter referred to as 'Credits' in these terms (the 'Credit Terms').
These Credit Terms apply to your use of any Credits to pay for Items using the Spryntz Service. These Credit Terms apply together with the Spryntz Terms and Conditions of Service, which continue to apply unless they conflict with these Credit Terms, in which case these Credit Terms have priority. Capitalised words used in these Credit Terms have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service unless they are defined in these Credit Terms.
You can “apply” a voucher to your account by (i) entering the Voucher code (if any) at the point you place an order, or (ii) by adding any reward that we make available to you in the “Your offers and rewards” section of your account page. Unless otherwise stated, a voucher that has been applied to your account will remain there until it is “redeemed” against an eligible order or expires (whichever is sooner). Account Credits are Credits that we apply to your account ourselves. In either case, once any Credit has been applied to your account, the amount of the Credit remains on your account until redeemed as payment for Items, unless it is lost, or, in the case of Vouchers, it expires in accordance with the terms of that Voucher. The reasons why Credits may be lost, or Vouchers may expire are set out in these Credit Terms.
2. Terms that apply to Vouchers only
Unless we tell you otherwise, vouchers offered in a particular country and currency cannot be used in a different country or currency. Vouchers are usually offered subject to conditions, such as time limits, geographic limits, limits to particular categories of customer (eg new customers) or use only at a particular Partner Restaurant or for a particular menu item. If conditions apply, they will be stated when we offer the Voucher.
Some Vouchers are only available to new Spryntz customers ("New Customer Vouchers") or Specific individual customers. That means that the Voucher is available to be applied (subject to any other applicable conditions) when the Customer logins to the Spryntz account and will be redeemed when the Customer places their first eligible order. Spryntz reserves the right to refuse to apply and/or allow you to redeem a new customer Voucher if you are registering a new account using credit card details or a delivery name and address already on our system.
Use of a Voucher in payment or part-payment may also be subject to specific conditions applicable to that Voucher only, such as a specific minimum order value or that the Voucher may only be redeemed at specific Partner Restaurants or on specific Items. If the order placed does not comply with the applicable conditions, the Credit may not be redeemed against that order. The payment page on our Site where you confirm your order for Items will show the total order value and the applicable Voucher, if any. If there is a Voucher credit on your account which does not apply to your order, it will not appear on the payment page. At that point you will have the choice of paying in another way or cancelling the order.
Unless we tell you otherwise, all Vouchers must be redeemed within one calendar month of the date they are applied.
Only one Voucher can be redeemed per order. Each Voucher can only be used once per customer. If you have more than one eligible Voucher applied to your account when you place an order, the Vouchers are redeemed in order of expiry date, with the Voucher expiring the earliest redeemed first.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other Spryntz offer.
If you cancel an order made using a Voucher, the Voucher credit will not be restored to the account and the Voucher cannot be re-used. If the Voucher was specific to a New Customer Voucher, you will no longer be a new customer and will not be eligible for any subsequent new customer Vouchers.
3. Terms that apply to Vouchers and Account Credit
Item orders are generally subject to minimum order values, which continue to apply regardless of whether payment or part-payment is by way of a Credit.
Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives and have no monetary value.
Any attempt to manipulate our Site and our offers of Credits by use of bulk entry via third parties or syndicates, macros, ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), will render the order and the relevant Credit invalid. Spryntz is entitled to take all reasonable steps to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid Credit redemptions, including requiring additional reasonable verification close the accounts of any customers it reasonably believes have carried out any such acts.
4. Definitions: Gift And Gifting
4.1 “Gift” means any food item, meal, or other consumable product purchased from a participating restaurant through Spryntz’s platform and intended for delivery to a recipient (whether an individual or a location) without expectation of payment or compensation from the recipient.
4.2 “Gifting” refers to the act of purchasing, arranging, and delivering a Gift to a recipient (a person or location) through the Spryntz application or platform.
5. Gift To A Person
5.1 Definition. A “Gift to a Person” is a Gift intended for delivery to an individual known to you (“Recipient”). You represent and warrant that you have obtained any necessary consent or have an existing relationship with the Recipient, ensuring that the delivery of the Gift does not intrude on their private space.
5.2 Spryntz’s Role. You acknowledge and agree that Spryntz serves solely as a facilitator between you and the Recipient:
(a) Acceptance. Spryntz will use reasonable efforts to hand over the Gift if the Recipient is available. If the Recipient is unavailable or refuses to accept the Gift, Spryntz may, at its discretion, leave it at the Recipient’s doorstep or otherwise follow any instructions provided by you. Spryntz bears no responsibility for any refusal or failure of the Recipient to accept the Gift, including any legal consequences thereof.
(b) Liability. You agree to indemnify and hold Spryntz harmless for any liabilities, claims, or disputes arising from the delivery or attempted delivery of the Gift, including but not limited to refusal or inability to accept the Gift.
(c) Content of Message. Name, message, and donor details will be conveyed verbally to the Recipient. Such information is collected solely to identify the intended Recipient and to facilitate the Gift’s delivery.
5.3 No Cancellation or Refund. Once the order for a Gift is created, it cannot be canceled, nor shall any refunds be provided in the event of non-acceptance or other refusal.
5.4 Substitution. In the event the chosen dish is unavailable or out of stock, the Restaurant may, at its discretion, provide an equivalent or similar dish. While Spryntz may attempt to contact you for confirmation, you acknowledge that timely communication cannot be guaranteed.
5.5 No Guarantee of Timely Delivery. Spryntz will use reasonable efforts to deliver the Gift promptly but disclaims any warranty or guarantee of on-time delivery due to circumstances that may be beyond Spryntz’s control.
5.6 Quality and Portion. Any quality, portion size, or serving specifications are determined by the Restaurant. Spryntz acts solely as the messenger to convey instructions but bears no control over the Restaurant’s response or decisions related to food preparation.
6. Gift At A Location
6.1 Definition. “Gift at a Location” refers to the purchase and delivery of a Gift to a specific venue or place (for example, a shelter, community center, or other designated location).
6.2 Limited Delivery Role. Spryntz undertakes to deliver the Gift only to the designated location. Spryntz is neither responsible for acceptance at the location, nor any subsequent handling, serving, or distribution of the Gift.
6.3 Acceptance or Refusal. If the Gift is refused or not accepted by the location, Spryntz’s responsibility shall be deemed fulfilled for the purposes of delivery. You agree that no refunds or cancellations will be provided.
6.4 Disposal or Redirection. In cases of refusal or other inability to deliver, Spryntz reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to donate, redirect, or otherwise dispose of the Gift. Spryntz’s intentions are to prevent perishable food items from going to waste, and no refund or compensation shall be provided to you under such circumstances.
6.5 Participation. If you wish to join Spryntz at the time of delivery, you may do so. However, Spryntz is under no obligation to remain at or serve the food at the location.
7. Pay It Forward
7.1 Scope. “Pay It Forward” allows you to purchase a Gift without specifying a particular Recipient; rather, the food items will be handed out to individuals at random or as determined by Spryntz or the Restaurant’s discretion.
7.2 No Recipient Information. You acknowledge that you will not receive any information regarding the identities of the eventual recipients, nor will you receive updates or tracking on how the Gift is distributed.
7.3 No Refund or Return. This Gifting option is intended purely as a charitable or goodwill gesture; once purchased, no cancellation, return, or refund is possible.
7.4 No Partiality or Guarantee. Spryntz does not promise or guarantee any specific recipients. By participating in “Pay It Forward,” you expressly allow Spryntz or the Restaurant to determine how best to distribute the Gift to those who may need or appreciate it.
7.5 Payment and Obligations. You agree to pay in advance for the food items to be distributed. No interest of any kind shall be paid on this amount, nor shall it be treated as a monetary donation. Only one dish per order per beneficiary shall be allocated.
8. General Provisions
8.1 Governing Law and Jurisdiction. These Terms and Conditions, including those pertaining to Gifting, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE, unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory local regulations.
8.2 Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, Spryntz disclaims any liability for losses or damages (whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with Gifting services, including but not limited to delivery delays, substitutions, non-acceptance, or the quality/quantity of the Gift supplied by the Restaurant.
8.3 Modification and Updates. Spryntz reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Gift-related Terms at any time, without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Spryntz application or website.
8.4 Consent and Agreement. Your continued use of the Spryntz platform and engagement in Gifting shall constitute your acceptance of and agreement with these T&Cs, as may be amended from time to time.
